For over 40 years, the Knox Parks Foundation has been based in Hartford, Connecticut helping to 'green' the city through:

• Connecting people with horticulture

• Reestablishing the urban forest

• Providing youth with job skills

• Establishing community gardens

• Beautifying neighborhoods

• Helping build stronger communities
